What Was on the Table at Our Festive Lunch

The festive season may seem like an age ago as we all settle into the year, but we're still thinking about all the delicious food we ate.

This year, we worked with our Market Lead, Bek, to create delicious recipes using ingredients from the markets. We had a lot of fun cooking these up, photographing them, and, of course, taste-testing them! 

Marshmallow Mini Pavlovas with Cherry Curd

We love a Pavlova, but the mini ones? Even better! These fluffy pillows featured a cherry curd made with Cathedral Cherries, marshmallow-soft pavlova, and some whipped cream and grated chocolate to top them off.



Miso Honey Roasted Turkey

Loddon Estate had plenty of turkey this season, so we scooped one up, glazed it with miso from Cooking with Koji and honey from BadBees, and roasted it to perfection.



Roasted Carrots with Whipped Chèvre & Carrot Top Chimichurri

Remi's Patch's Dutch Carrots were begging to be roasted (with Holy Olive Oil). We kept the carrot tops for a chimichurri and nestled it all on a base of whipped Dreaming Goat chèvre and Schulz yoghurt.




Hibiscus Gin Fizz 

Since Botanikos joined the MFM community, we've been experimenting with their Hibiscus Simple Syrups and loving it. We paired it with HM Gin 7 Spice Chai Gin to make a fresh fizz.



It's almost 4 o'clock, and we could go for one of these Hibiscus Gin Fizzes right now.
