Founded in 2015, Paul has transformed Days Walk Farm in Kelior, Victoria, into a thriving space that protects and nurtures the land through regenerative farming practices, including reduced-tillage and no-till practices. Reduced tillage improves soil microbiology. Harvests from reduced and no-till plots generally have a more complex flavour and nutrient profile. Veggies from Days Walk - both popular and heritage varieties - grace the plates of restaurants including Cumulus Inc., Cutler & Co., Rat the Cafe, La Pinta, and Red Door Corner Store.
Along with some of Melbourne’s finest restaurants, Paul is also committed to farmers’ markets and sells produce weekly at the Melbourne Famers’ Markets’ Coburg Market.
Days Walk Farm also offers internships and volunteer opportunities to those interested in regenerative farming. Paul is the founder of the Farmer Incubator program, empowering aspiring farmers to get the hands-on, agro-ecological knowledge and experience.
In its eighth year, Days Walk Farm continues to aspire toward environmental and social goals, with native vegetation regeneration, education and promoting local food systems at its core. Paul and his farm continue to inspire individuals and communities alike to embrace a more sustainable and environmentally conscious way of life.
